Barkley Project Group has managed all aspects of project development, construction and operations for the Canoe Creek Hydro facility. The project received financial support from INAC’ s Climate Change Initiative, and was selected as a success story for the ecoENERGY for Aboriginal and Northern Communities Program.

Project Manager Barkley Project Group was honoured to accept the Clean Energy Association of BC 2010 Project Excellence Award, recognizing the success of the Canoe Creek Hydro project. Located in the UNESCO Biosphere in Clayoquot Sound, Canoe Creek Hydro is a model for sustainable development in the renewable energy sector.
